Dr. Enrico Riva

orn in Milan on May 6, 1959. Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1986, specialized in Orthodontics at the same university, First Level Medical Director at the Pediatric Dentistry Department of V. Buzzi Children’s Hospital in Milan, ordinary member of S.I.D.O. (Italian Society of Orthodontics).

• Co-author of the report “Review of 156 cases of titanium miniplate application” 6th National Congress of Maxillofacial Surgery, Genoa 1989. Speaker at the 13th Congress of the Italian Society of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology: “Pathology of the oropharyngotubaric district in maxillary growth disorder,” Capri 1994,
• Co-author of the report: “Tolerability of fixed orthodontic appliances: comparison between two techniques” Florence 1994, within the study group meeting of segmented arch and straight arch of the Italian Society of Orthodontics,
• Speaker at the course: “Conscious sedation in pediatric dentistry” Milan 2011,
• Co-author of the report: “Twenty years of experience with nitrous oxide in pediatric dentistry” in Nitrous oxide for pain relief in children and women during childbirth, Milan 2012,
• Attended the theoretical-practical postgraduate course in pediatric dentistry at the University of Florence in the two-year period 2004-2005 and the course “Biomechanics in orthodontics” in the two-year period 2011-2012.
