HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHAT HAPPENS WHILE YOU WAIT IN THE WAITING ROOM?
Disposable dirty material is placed in special waste containers, while contaminated instruments are transferred to the sterilization room.
Here begins a process of chemical disinfection in settling tanks, followed by cycles of ultrasound for instrument cleaning.
Subsequently, each instrument is individually checked under a magnifying glass to ensure absolute cleanliness and integrity. The individual tools are then dried with compressed air and individually packaged in bags that are heat-sealed and dated for storage purposes. Everything then undergoes the most important step: sterilization in an autoclave.
The instruments now have 30 to 45 days to be used. In the meantime, an operator wipes the surfaces of the dental chairs and units with a rapid-action germicidal disinfectant compliant with Directive 93/42/EC.
The surfaces are then covered with a disposable plastic barrier to prevent cross-infections. At this point, you can relax in a safe environment! Your safety is our duty.
